Another popular water-side swimming destination near Mackay, Airlie Beach Lagoon offering a beautiful location to swim and soak up some rays.

A beautiful waterfall connects the two main lagoons which vary in depth of up to 1.8 metres.

The kids will love the slide, which takes you from the top to the middle lagoon.

Free wi-fi is available at the park.

Entry is free of charge to the facility, which is open 7 days from May-August (9am-4.45pm) and September to April (9am-5.45pm).

Bluewater Lagoon is located at Caneland Park, River Street, Mackay.
